Assemblies of God, Ghana
Church software for Assemblies of God churches in Ghana
Assemblies of God, Ghana has over 6,000 local churches and about 700,000 members under a General Council, organised into regions led by regional superintendents and districts led by district pastors. Each local church is governed by its pastor with a church board of deacons, chaired, with a secretary and a treasurer.
Your structure, not a template
That is a real hierarchy with real reporting, and Fold is built for it. The local church keeps its own register and giving, the district pastor sees the churches in the district, and the regional office sees the totals without anyone retyping them.
Levels of oversight
- General Council
- Region

Branches let one account oversee several local churchs, each keeping its own register.

Your district report, already filled in
The evening somebody in your local church loses every period, assembling figures that were all written down somewhere already. Fold counts them from the records your team kept as they went.
- Membership totalled and broken down by departments
- Attendance averaged against services actually held, not against Sundays on a calendar
- Baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals recorded the week they happen
- Income split by tithe, offering and any fund you keep
- Ready to print or save as PDF for the district pastor and the regional office
Who sees the giving
The minister, an administrator and a finance officer. Nobody else. A church board chair can keep their own people and record attendance without ever opening the giving records, and that is enforced by the database itself rather than by hiding a menu item.
Each local church's records are separated from every other church's in the same way. Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) your church is a data controller and must register with the Data Protection Commission, and choosing software that separates records properly is part of meeting that duty.
