Attendance
Recording services, marking who came, and finding members who have drifted away.
A head count of men and women per service is enough for the statistical return, and it is what most churches record. Naming who attended is more work and worth more, because it is the only way to notice who has quietly stopped coming before they have gone for good.
Recording a service is one save for the whole congregation rather than one round trip per person, so it works on a weak signal from the back of the church. The insights page needs a few weeks of named attendance before it can say anything, and it says so rather than guessing.
