What is a circuit?
Circuit
A circuit is a group of Methodist societies under one superintendent minister, and the level that receives each society's quarterly return.
The circuit holds its own quarterly meeting, employs its ministers, and pools assessments from its societies. The Methodist Church Ghana has 337 circuits across 20 dioceses.
For a church secretary the circuit matters because it is who the return goes to, and who asks when it is late.
