A class leader is the lay member responsible for a Bible class in a Methodist society: taking attendance, visiting members, collecting class dues and reporting to the leaders' meeting.
It is the oldest office in Methodism after the preacher, and still the one that decides whether a member who stops coming is noticed in two weeks or two years. The Methodist Church Ghana counts 34,403 lay leaders across its societies.
In software, a class leader should see their own class and not the whole church's giving. Most systems cannot make that distinction.
